Wisconsin River TMDL

Purpose

The Wisconsin TMDL was completed in 2019 and approved by the EPA on April 26, 2019. This large, multi-basin project involves a tremendous effort to gather loading and impact data and modeling to determine sustainable loading rates.

This report is the culmination of several years of effort to develop wasteload allocations for water quality limited segments and seasons on Segment D of the Wisconsin River. The report is structured to give an overview of the segment of river modeled, a general description of the model, the calibration, the verification, and a sensitivity analysis of the verified model.
This report is the culmination of ten years of effort to develop wasteload allocations for water quality limited segments and seasons on Segment BC of the Wisconsin River. The report is structured to give an overview of the segment of river modeled, a general description of the model, the calibration and verification of the model, and a sensitivity analysis of the calibrated model.
