The Lake Iola District is sponsoring a project to develop a Comprehensive Lake Management Plan. Specific project activities include: 1) In-Lake water quality monitoring; 2) Fisheries assessment; 3) Aquatic plant surveys; 4) Conduct sociologic survey; 5) Shoreline inventory/mapping; 6) Watershed & land use delineation; 7) Management planning meetings. Project final deliverables include: all data collected, agendas and minutes for planning meetings, and a lake management plan that includes methodologies, results, and management alternatives discussion with an implementation plan.
