Columbia County will implement best practices described in Wisconsin's Healthy Lakes Implementation Plan that include: implementation of fish sticks, 350 square feet native plantings, diversion practices, infiltration practices, or rain gardens on 3 properties. Best practices require a contract to remain in effect for 10 yrs & must include minimum operation & maintenance requirements & data collection as described in grant condition #16. If best practice(s) are implemented on land owned by grant Sponsor, this Grant Agreement serves as the contract. If best practice(s) are implemented on land other than the sponsor\2019s, a contract between the sponsor & landowner that abides by grant condition #16 is required.
