The Sawyer County Land and Water Conservation Department will (in partnership with the Northwest Lakes Conference Planning Committee) sponsor and conduct the 8th Annual Northwest Lakes Conference to be held June 21-22, 2007. This conference will provide participants general and specific lake knowledge and awareness of the resources available to assist them in managing their lake property and becoming good stewards of these vital resources. Conference activities include a hands-on workshop, exhibitors, motivational speakers, and break-out sessions on lake and shoreline health, law and policy, aquatic plant management, invasive species, fish and wildlife, and other possible lake management issues.
