SAWYER COUNTY: Northwest Lakes Conference 2007

Purpose

The Sawyer County Land and Water Conservation Department will (in partnership with the Northwest Lakes Conference Planning Committee) sponsor and conduct the 8th Annual Northwest Lakes Conference to be held June 21-22, 2007. This conference will provide participants general and specific lake knowledge and awareness of the resources available to assist them in managing their lake property and becoming good stewards of these vital resources. Conference activities include a hands-on workshop, exhibitors, motivational speakers, and break-out sessions on lake and shoreline health, law and policy, aquatic plant management, invasive species, fish and wildlife, and other possible lake management issues. Specific deliverables for this project include a written summary report detailing conference attendance and including a copy of the final agenda and a synopsis of the conference review/post mortem. This scope is intended to summarize the detailed project scope provided in the application and does not supersede those application tasks/deliverables. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator. Grantee or consultant will provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR shall receive both paper and electronic copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
