WHITE RIVER LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Eurasian Water Milfoil Management on West Branch Mill Pond

Purpose

The White River Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District is sponsoring a project to manage Eurasian watermilfoil through physical and chemical means. Project deliverables include: Submit annual and final reports to the DNR \2013 Lake Coordinator. Specific project activities include: 1) Map, conduct and monitor DASH of EWM; 2) Implement hand pulling of EWM; 3) Conduct AIS ID and Removal training events; 4) Conduct point intercept surveys and EWM abundance surveys; 5) Develop and give a presentation to educate the public on AIS management and native plantings. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist. Final report: it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
