VILLAGE OF CHENEQUA: Village of Chenequa - III Watershed Inventory

Purpose

The Village of Chenequa is proceeding with the third phase of their project which is the watershed inventory component. The waterways included in this component are Cornell and Pine Lake and include portions of Beaver and North Lake which lakes form a tributary lake system to the Oconomowoc River chain of lakes and piped tributaries into Pine to North via Cornell Lake. Products to be produced include a Volume one report that contains 1) Compilation and synthesis of inventory data on watershed tributaries; 2) A compilation of existing water quality and quantity data for all four lakes; 3) aquatic plant community data and 4) Results of the recreational use survey. A full description of the project scope and deliverables is in the grant application, which is part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with two paper copies and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
