VILLAGE OF FAIRCHILD: Fairchild Pond Water Quality Management Plan
Return to Search
Purpose
This capacity building project will educate and engage the local community to create a preliminary Fairchild Pond Management Plan that assesses available water quality data and explores alternatives to address existing water quality challenges (e.g., algal blooms, sedimentation). The resulting plan will include an achievable action plan with prioritized next steps and resources determined through community discussion and by nurturing partnerships to make positive change. Deliverables: all data collected, agendas and minutes for planning meetings and a lake management plan that includes methodologies, results and management alternatives discussion with an implementation plan. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables describe therein. Data, records and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lakes Biologist.
