Purpose

To cost-share design and installation of barnyard and manure management practices on the James Wautier dairy farm to protect groundwater and surface waters of Keyes Creek and address the Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions under Subchapter II of NR 151 relating to nutrient management and prevention of unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas.

Outcome

Manure storage and clean water diversions (roof gutters) installed.
