LAKE REDSTONE PROTECTION DISTRICT: Lake Redstone APMP, Surveys &EWM Management

Purpose
Project Scope and Description of Deliverables (CAOS-2000 Character Limit) Lake Redstone Protection District is sponsoring a project to conduct an aquatic plant survey in 2022, update their APM plan, hold two educational presentations, hold a shoreland improvement workshop, conduct a social survey, and complete sub-PI plant surveys for EWM in 5 bays in 2022 and 2023. Project final deliverables include: 1) Meeting minutes and data collected in the 2 public meetings 2) Electronic copy of updated APM plan will be provided to Lakes Biologist; 3) PI Plant Survey data collected will be emailed to Lakes Biologist and uploaded to SWIMS database; 4) Meeting minutes from both AIS educational events and the shoreline improvement workshop; 5) Results of the social survey will be provided to the Lakes Biologist Specific project activities include: 1) Hold two public meetings in late summer/fall of 2022; 2) Complete an update to the Lake Redstone APM plan in early 2023; 3) Conduct a whole-lake PI plant survey in 2022 and complete 5 sub-PI plant surveys in bays of Lake Redstone in 2022 and 2023; 4) Hold one AIS educational event in 2022, one AIS educational event in 2023, and one shoreline improvement workshop in either 2022 or 2023; 5) Conduct a social survey in 2022 Special Conditions: The PI plant survey data will be uploaded to the SWIMS Database and an electronic copy of the APM plan will be provided to the Lakes Biologist. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
