ROCK RIVER COALITION, INC: Rock River Coalition 5 Year Strategic Planning

Purpose

Project Scope and Description of Deliverables RRC would like to embark on a 5-yr strategic planning process. Securing a 5-yr strategic plan will build RRC's capacity to engage more Rock River Basin community members and to carry out planning and management projects around water quality in the Basin. This will be a collaborative effort between members, board, stakeholders, and staff to decide the priorities and direction of the organization for the next 5 yrs. Project final deliverables include: RRC Board and staff will be introduced to the strategic planning process and set scope of 5-year plan and outline level of involvement of Board, staff, volunteers, and members in upcoming formal strategic planning process. An outline of the strategic planning process with participants will be created. RRC ED will draft a finalized 5-year strategic plan with specific goals identified, strategies for implementing those goals, and how we will measure success. The RRC Board and Staff will provide ongoing feedback to the RRC ED throughout the drafting process. Completed 5-year strategic plan. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
