Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association: Hlk-Beaver Dam Healthy Lake: Beaver Dam Lake District will implement best practices described in Wisconsin\2019s 2014-2017 Healthy Lakes Implementation Plan. Practices include: 350 ft2 native plantings, rain gardens, rock infiltration practices, and diversion practices on 5 lakeshore properties, including the City of Beaver Dam\2019s Edgewater Park.
The best practices require a contract to remain in effect for 10 years and must include minimum operation and maintenance requirements and data collection as described in grant condition #17. If best practice(s) are implemented on land owned by the grant Sponsor, this Lake Protection Grant Agreement serves as the contract. If best practice(s) are implemented on land other than the sponsor\2019s, a contract between the sponsor and landowner that abides by grant condition #16 is required.
The Department may require re-payment of project installation costs if the best practice is disturbed or removed. The Sponsor and/or the Department may perform site inspections and/or monitoring to ensure project success.
Deliverables: Best practice location and design information, if not included in the application; signed 10-year landowner contract; pre and post project installation photographs; summary of education activities and publicity/promotion of Healthy Lakes initiative, if applicable.
Special conditions: The state share of each best practice cannot exceed $1,000. The state share of grant administration and technical assistance costs may not exceed 10% of the grant award; technical assistance does not include implementation labor. Funding cannot be used for mitigation or regulatory compliance activities. Water regulation and/or county zoning permits must be issued before construction. The Healthy Lakes logo should be used for promotion and publicity, and DNR recognized as a funding source.

Lake Ripley Management District: Acq-Lake Ripley-Johnson Acquisition: The Lake Ripley Management District will purchase a 65.926-acre parcel of the James & Jane Johnson property in the Town of Oakland, Jefferson County. The property will link the 100-acre Lake Ripley Preserve to 40 acres of DNR-owned wetlands along Lake Ripley's only inlet. This purchase would also ensure the protection, in perpetuity, of a critical stream corridor and wetland/floodplain complex within the headwaters region of Lake Ripley. By purchasing this property, Lake Ripley Management District will be able to establish protective conservation buffers; gain access to additional wetland and stream areas for purchases of protection and restoration; and will preserve one of the watershed's few remaining woodlots.

Lake Ripley Management District: Res-Hoard-Curtis Scout Camp Lkshore Rest.: Lake Ripley Management District proposes to undertake a shoreline stabilization and restoration project at the Hoard-Curtis Scout Camp shoreline on Lake Ripley, Jefferson County. They will install riprap off-shore of the existing shoreline (DNR permit already issued), plant aquatic plants inland of that riprap, and do upland seeding (to supplement previously completed plug plantings) after invasive weed and brush removal. The deliverable for this project will consist of a final written report describing the major steps in the project, supplemented with photo documentation of the work in progress and the final, complete project. Copies of publicity used during the project should be attached as well. Specific deliverables of the project (that is, detailed description of the restoration project) are contained within the grant application scope on page 4.

Dodge County: Dodge County Lakes Survey: Dodge County will collect information utilizing a public survey questionnaire in order to determine public opinion about the waters in the county and to see if there is need to conduct a Waterway (Lake & Stream) Classification Project in the future.
A full description of project scope and deliverables is available in the grant application, which is part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.

Project Scope and Description of Deliverables
RRC would like to embark on a 5-yr strategic planning process. Securing a 5-yr strategic plan will build RRC's capacity to engage more Rock River Basin community members and to carry out planning and management projects around water quality in the Basin. This will be a collaborative effort between members, board, stakeholders, and staff to decide the priorities and direction of the organization for the next 5 yrs.
Project final deliverables include:
RRC Board and staff will be introduced to the strategic planning process and set scope of 5-year plan and outline level of involvement of Board, staff, volunteers, and members in upcoming formal strategic planning process. An outline of the strategic planning process with participants will be created.
RRC ED will draft a finalized 5-year strategic plan with specific goals identified, strategies for implementing those goals, and how we will measure success. The RRC Board and Staff will provide ongoing feedback to the RRC ED throughout the drafting process.

Project Scope and Description of Deliverables
RRC recognizes that communities of color and underserved communities are disproportionately burdened by adverse impacts of environmental policy decisions. The RRC serves the entire Rock River Basin which encompasses 10 South Central Wisconsin counties; yet, RRC has very little diversity of population in its organization. RRC will be seeking training and technical assistance from professional(s) in the DEI&J field with expertise and lived experience in order to chip away at this deficit.
Project final deliverables include:
Contract with DEI&J consultants who have a proven track record of success in assisting non-profit organizations like RRC to reach people of diverse races and cultures. When research is completed RRC will have a list of qualified DEI&J consultants to approach about being on our RRC advisory committee by 4th quarter 2021 and will recruit 5 DEI&J experts for our advisory committee by end of 1st quarter 2022. Put together list of topics to cover in four, one and half hour meetings, and schedule meetings to be held at intervals during 2022.

DEI&J work will be incorporated into RRC bylaws, communications, and strategic planning, by in 4th Quarter of 2022.

Jefferson Co. Parks Dept.: Rock River Shoreline Restoration: Jefferson County Parks Department will undertake a shoreline restoration project at Rock River Park to protect it from further erosion and to provide an improved shoreline fishing and outdoor experience for park users. Work is to include removing current fabric, regrading to allow for correct slope, installing filter fabric, field stone rip rap and native plant vegetation with the rock and or/behind the rip rap. Maintenance of the native vegetation within the rip rap above the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) is a condition of the grant. Jefferson County Parks Department's maintenance plan for Rock River Park will include no mowing/trimming/removal of the native vegetation. Potential future additions of shore fishing piers/platforms at the site that may require adjustment of the native vegetation will be coordinated with Fisheries Management.
Project deliverables are as follows: 1.) Shoreline restoration completed on 208 feet of river shoreline on the Rock River and the Rock River Park, 2.) Erosion control including planting and maintaining native vegetation within the rip rap above the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM). 3.) Rock River Park's maintenance plan will include a provision for maintenance of native vegetation within the project area.
