JEFFERSON CO. PARKS DEPT.: RES-Korth Park Shoreline Restoration

Purpose

Korth Park Shoreline Restoration: This grant will cost the cost share for additional (to LPT-234-04) shoreline grading of 700 feet of shore, some of which is very steep, to establish a stable shoreline for the long-term. This graded area will need native plant restoration. All these activities will be done in a manner that will best protect a nearby archeological site of significance. A full description of project scope and deliverables is available in the grant application, which is part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
