CITY OF BEAVER DAM: Rechek Water Quality Pond TMDL amended to now be Beaver Dam Library Water Quality Pond

Purpose

to cost-share the construction of a wet detention pond near the intersection of Mackie Street and Jackson Street, including storm sewer re-routing and construction of an outlet, to help the city comply with the wasteload allocations of the Rock River Basin TMDLs for TP and TSS and its MS4 permit and to remove other pollutants before discharging to the Beaver Dam River, per the UNPS & SW Program Construction Grant Application titled Rechek Water Quality Pond and submitted in 2013.

This project is a landowner installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin�s waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will implement: a wet detention pond near the intersection of Mackie Street and Jackson Street, including storm sewer re-routing and construction of an outlet, to help the city comply with the wasteload allocations of the Rock River Basin TMDLs for TP and TSS and its MS4 permit and to remove other pollutants before discharging to the Beaver Dam River.
