Purpose
Horseshoe Lake Public Inland Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District is sponsoring a project to control Hybrid and Eurasian Water Milfoil (HWM, EWM) in Horseshoe Lake. Project activities include: 1) In-lake water quality monitoring; 2) EWM Management; 3) Herbicide concentration testing; 4) Aquatic Invasive Species monitoring; 5) Lake user education; 6) Meeting Minutes
Project final deliverables include: All data collected, agendas and minutes for planning meetings, monitoring data and results, target species management plans and activities.
Specific project activities include: 1) HWM/EWM management (physical, DASH, and/or herbicide); 2) Management planning and implementation; 3) Lake user education; 4) AIS Monitoring; 5) Aquatic Plant Monitoring; 6) Water quality monitoring
Special Conditions:
1)CLMN efforts should not be duplicated, and the data shall be included in the trend analysis and final reporting.
2) All data shall be entered into the SWIMS database.
3) All monitoring completed with department approved protocols.
This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft or comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee\2019s final payment request.
