EAGLE RIVER CHAIN OF LAKES ASSOC: Eagle River Chain of Lakes Clean Boat Clean Water Coordinator Program

Purpose

The Eagle River Chain of Lakes Association is sponsoring an AEPP grant for the Eagle River Chain, in Vilas County. Project partners include the Unified Lower Eagle River Chain of Lakes Commission, Vilas County LWCD and local lake associations. The project will focus on AIS education and prevention. Project activities include: 1) Hire project coordinator; 2) Recruit volunteers and implement a CB/CW program on the Eagle Chain; 3) Entry of inspection Forms 3200-120 onto Dept website. Project deliverables include: 1) Minimum of 300 watercraft inspection hours; 2) Completed entry of inspection Forms 3200-120 onto Dept website; 3) Hired coordinator; 4) Final report summarizing CB/CW activities and AIS educational activities. Specific Conditions for this project: Final report needs Dept review and approval WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) and hard copy of final report.
