Three Lakes Waterfront Association is sponsoring 8 large scale lake planning grants to study 4 lakes in the Three Lakes Chain, in Oneida County. This project scope is for Whitefish Lake and the activities listed for this project will be the same for all 4 lakes in this project. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for Whitefish Lake and conducting AIS education, prevention and monitoring activities. Phase 2 Project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation \2013 stakeholder survey analysis and newsletters; 2) Water quality sampling analysis (secchi, P, Chla, N, conductivity, pH, total Alk, total suspended solids, calcium, DO, and temp); 3) Professional Dreissena monitoring; 4) Distribute AIS education materials and AIS monitoring; 5) Develop LMP. Project deliverables include: 1) Stakeholder survey and newsletter articles; 2) AIS educational materials; 3) Water quality data; 4) LMP and AIS final report; Specific conditions for this project: 1) Draft of stakeholder survey should be submitted to Lakes Management Coordinator for review before sending to public; 2) LMP and AIS final report needs Dept review and approval.
