NORTH LAKELAND DISCOVERY CENTER: Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes - Vance Lake CLP Control

Purpose

North Lakeland Discovery Center is sponsoring a project on Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes \2013 Vance Lake CLP Control. Project final deliverables include: 1) Final report summarizing all project activities 2) Annual report summarizing work performed, total CLP removed, and future recommendations 3) Maps, and raw data related to CLP mapping with ESAIS and LSAIS. Specific project activities include: 1) Monitor and locate CLP populations 2) Conduct management activities on identified CLP populations (Hand-harvesting and DASH) 3) Conduct ESAIS and LSAIS surveys to monitor management activities, and population dynamics. Special Conditions: 1) All data shall be entered into SWIMS database 2) Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a formal specified by regional AIS Biologist. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein.
