ONEIDA: RES-Town of Newbold Priority Stream Crossing Replacement

Purpose
Oneida Co Land & Water Conservation Dept (LWCD) is sponsoring a project to install a properly sized (i.e. bank full width or greater) and set (skew/elevation) stream crossing on Twin Creek @ Muskellunge Lk Rd, Twp. Newbold for the purposes of increasing both built- and natural-infrastructure resiliency (i.e. erosion reduction, aquatic organism passage, hydrologic connectivity + integrity) Activities: 1) Final Project Design sent out for Bids 2) Hold pre-construction mtg. per description pg 9 grant application incl. special cond. below 3) Construction of project following all standards and BMPs, incl. removal of undersized structure, install of new properly sized structure, and stabilization 4) monitoring project post-completion Deliverables: 1) Pre-Construction mtg notes provided to DNR WQ + Fish Biologists + EA Specialist 2) Final planting lists of native species (and qty/rates) used to stabilize site, final invoices, quantities + descriptions of materials installed provided to WDNR 3) Project construction & completion photos, O&M plan and monitoring results (i.e. erosion, flow) to WDNR when the project completed. Conditions: 1) DNR WQ Biologist, EA Specialist, Fish Biologist shall a) be provided final plan design for approval prior to construction a) receive optional pre-const. mtg. invite 2) Enter into land use agreements containing a 20-year operation and maintenance plan for activities conducted on properties not owned by the Grantee and provide copy of these agreements recorded at the County Register of Deeds office prior to requesting final reimbursement 3) All local, state, and federal permits and approval must be obtained before construction This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
