Purpose

To cost-share landowner installation of barnyard and manure management best management practices to reduce sediment and phosphorus runoff into Roxbury Creek & the Wisconsin River and to provide runoff management protection in compliance with the Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions designed to resolve the issues of the Notice of Intent issued April 10, 2009, involving manure storage, clean water diversions, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
