Report on research done on Miljala Channel of Rock Lake in Jefferson County by the UW-Madison Water Resources Management (WRM) practicum 2011 and 2012.

The Rock Lake Improvement Association proposes hire a consultant to oversee the following activities: 1.) finalize data collection and development of a management plan for this phased project. 2.) conduct a tile survey along the stream channel, identify potential funding sources, and 3.) complete a feasibility study to determine and design the preferred management alternative(s). This feasibility study will include working closely with property owners and the public to ensure social feasibility (as well as technical and financial) of the alternative(s) selected. This management plan should be the final stage of work prior to implementation in this watershed. Final results will be shared with the general public, affected landowners, and will be made available on the association\2019s website.
