Purpose

This free workshop runs from 5:00-8:00pm in Ashland County. The workshop will be held at the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute at Northland College, 1411 Ellis Ave, Ashland, WI. The Clean Boats, Clean Waters (CBCW) watercraft inspection program provides an opportunity to learn how and why educational awareness is vitally important in preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS). This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of AIS, instructions on how to organize an effective watercraft inspection program, and hands-on training for watercraft inspections and AIS identification.
