VILLAGE OF HALES CORNERS: Vil Hales Corners SWMP Update

Purpose

to cost share updates to the village's 1986 storm water management plan, including updates to mapping, its ranked list and implementation schedule of BMP projects, the fees and policies of the storm water utility, ordinances, so as to be consistent with NR 151, and developing a BMP maintenance plan. The village will take into consideration potential TMDL limits for Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Total Phosphorus(TP) that may be established for The Root River, per the UNPS & SW Program Planning Grant Application titled Village of Hales Corners Storm Water Management Plan Update and submitted in 2013.

This project is an installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin�s waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will implement: updates to the village's 1986 storm water management plan, including updates to mapping, its ranked list and implementation schedule of BMP projects, the fees and policies of the storm water utility, ordinances, so as to be consistent with NR 151, and developing a BMP maintenance plan.
