This project is an installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin?s waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will implement: development of a new storm water management plan and storm water utility for the village. Activities will include mapping, development of an illicit discharge detection and elimination system, public information and education, development of construction site and post-construction storm water ordinances, modeling, and recommendations for system improvements (BMPs), with cost estimates.
Activities to establish a storm water utility will include mapping, data collection, a feasibility study, a rate study, setting up a user charge system and billing system, and writing an ordinance.
