High-Fishtrap-Rush Lakes Association is sponsoring phased large scale lake planning grants to study High-Fishtrap-Rush Lakes, in Vilas County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for High-Fishtrap-Rush Lakes. Phase 2 project activities include: 1) Volunteer frog and toad monitoring and angler\2019s journal program; 2) Watershed assessment and water quality sampling; 3) Lake stage, discharge and retention time assessment; 4) Rare species assessment; 5) Shoreland assessment; 6) Watercraft inspections; 7) Develop LMP.
