Chippewa County, in partnership with DNR, proposes to conduct a study of aquatic and terrestrial flora and fauna within the Chippewa County Forest. Major project elements would include: 1) Lake sampling, 2) Fish sampling and habitat assessment, 3) Sediment core sampling, and 4) Generation of reports and maps in conjuction with the Natural Heritage Inventory (NHI).
