DANE COUNTY: Lake Kegonsa Door Creek Wetlands

Purpose

Dane County proposes to conduct an evaluation of the Door Creek Wetlands north of Lake Kegonsa. The following activities will be included in this project; 1) establishing the boundaries of the watershed, 2) gathering and analyzing existing physical, chemical, and biological information including all land uses, 3) develop a comprehensive Resource Protection Plan. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by summary, newsletter and final full report mailing(s), public meeting(s) and local newspaper articles. A final comprehensive management plan will be completed and available to the public for review.
