The Washburn County Lakes and Rivers Association will initiate a phase 2 project to the Shoreline Management Guide distribution project that was started in April, 2004 with the assistance of planning grant project No. SPL-077-04. Numerous cost increases and overruns have prevented the distribution of this important guide at the level that was originally planned. As now planned, phase 2 of this project will consist of preparation and mailing costs for the distribution of this guide to 3,000 plus Washburn County shoreline property owners. Specific deliverables for this project will include a copy of the development "guide" and a summary report listing project activities and accomplishments.
