CITY OF MIDDLETON: Mendota Middleton Lake Rehabilitation Plan

Purpose

The City of Middleton will: study the silting-in of the mouth of Pheasant Branch Creek where it enters in to Lake Mendota: update recent watershed studies to identify sediment sources, critical areas, and sensitive areas; involve the public in supporting best management practices to reduce future sedimentation; prepare a plan for dredging the area; assess the fishery; and involve the public in identifying opportunities to improve public access for fishing. A full description of the project scope and project deliverables is in the grant application, which is a part of this agreement.
