Grant Awarded
This grant will provide funding to host a keynote speaker for the 2006 Wisconsin Lakes Convention. The theme of the convention this year is increasing civic engagement, and the speaker chosen represents that topic. Inspiring keynote speakers not only provide a unifying element to support the theme, but it attracts people to increase attendance, which promotes effective participation in public policy and lake management by more knowledgeable and caring people.
