Camp-Center Lakes PWS Plan - Nine Key Element Plan

Purpose

The Camp-Center Lakes Priority Watershed Plan assesses the sources of pollution in the Camp-Center Lakes watershed and guides the implementation of nonpoint source control measures. These control measures are needed to meet specific water resource objectives for Camp Lake, Center Lake, and its tributaries in Kenosha County.

Objective

The primary objective of the project is to reduce nonpoint source pollution to Camp and Center Lakes in Kenosha County.

Outcome

The goals are to reduce sediment delivery by 56% and phosphorus load by 56%. That would result in improved recreational and aquatic life values, including swimming and fishing, by increasing water clarity and reducing nuisance algae.
