BURNETT COUNTY LAND CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT: Controlling Runoff & Erosion Guidebook

Purpose

The Burnett County Land & Water Conservation Department, in partnership with Balsam Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District and Bayfield County Land & Water Conservation Department, is sponsoring a project to update and reprint an existing guidebook for controlling runoff and erosion on waterfront property. The updated guidebook will include information on identifying soil types and methods to reduce runoff quantity and divert and infiltrate water. A professional graphic designer will assist with layout and drawings. Special Conditions: 1) Usage rights of artwork, images, and/or written text and copy authored by designer and its contractors are transferred to grantees and the DNR upon payment; 2) DNR will be acknowledged in print as a publication sponsor. This scope is intended to summarize the detailed project scope provided in the application and does not supersede those application tasks/deliverables. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator. Grantee or consultant will provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant.
