Project Scope and Description of Deliverables
Minong Flowage Association is partnering with Washburn County, Renewable World Energies and other partners to complete a winter drawdown of the Minong Flowage to control over 110 acres of EWM. Planning, plant survey work, and water quality testing are all part of the project.
Project final deliverables include:
Final reports summarizing all data collected, management plan updates, drawdown implementation plan, uploaded monitoring data, and GIS map files.
Specific project activities include:
1)Drawdown implementation plan 2) Aquatic plant management plan 3) Creation of newsletters for distribution to outside entities and constituents 4) Aquatic invasive species decontamination stations and materials 5) CBCW based activities 6) PI/Aquatic plant surveys 7) CLMN monitoring 8) Protection and restoration of islands and shorelines within the Minong Flowage.
