TOWN OF PHELPS: Town of Phelps Dissolved Oxygen Meter

Purpose

The Town of Phelps is sponsoring a small scale lake planning grant to study DO levels within lakes in the Town of Phelps and Vilas County with a study completion date of December 31, 2009. The project will focus on purchasing a DO meter for Citizen Lake Monitoring Network (CLMN) sampling and water quality assessments during aquatic invasive species (AIS) management activities. Project activities include: 1) Purchase Hach HQ30D meter and LDO probe w/30m cable; 2) Perform DO/Temp profiles as part of CLMN sampling and monitoring during AIS management and study; 3) Submit DO/Temp profile data to WDNR; 4) Develop final report summarizing sampling. Project deliverables include: 1) Hach HQ30D meter and LDO probe; 2) DO/Temp profiles; 3) Final report. Specific conditions for this project: Final report needs Dept review and approval WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) and hard copy of final report.
