Purpose

To cost-share design and installation of barnyard/feedlot and manure management practices to extend a no-runoff system on the Fendryk farm by installing best management practices designed to capture, divert and treat leachate runoff.

Outcome

John Fendryk Leachate Runoff project was substituted for Calendar Year 2009 TRM grant application for Zeitler. Leachate containment pad constructed to contain and direct feed-bag leachate to manure storage facility.
