Friends of Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary is sponsoring a youth education project in partnership with Washburn County Lakes and Rivers Association and Long Lake Preservation Association. The primary purpose is to bus the schools of Washburn County and other school districts that overlap into Washburn County to the sanctuary to teach them about water resources stewardship. The Hunt Hill grant will be used for fieldtrip expenses and promotional materials.
