Purpose

A comprehensive monitoring program will be implemented for portions of the Milwaukee River in Ozaukee Co. to partially address delisting targets or required actions for 9 of 11 Milwaukee Estuary AOC BUIs.

Objective

A comprehensive monitoring program will be implemented for portions of the Milwaukee River in Ozaukee County to partially address delisting targets or required actions for 9 of 11 Milwaukee Estuary AOC BUIs. The program includes fish population and deformity surveys, fish tissue and sediment sampling and analysis for PCBs, and water quality monitoring for phosphorus, pathogens, and other constituents relevant to addressing BUIs.
