Purpose
Marinette County has will continue to conduct a volunteer CBCW program. However, it has been difficult to recruit and keep reliable volunteeers to carry out regular water craft inspections on source waters. A paid water craft inspection and monitoring program will fill an important AIS education and awareness need that has been missing at high traffic public landings on infested waters. The goal of this project is to implement a CBCW paid water craft inspection, boater education, and AIS monitoring program. CBCW and CLMN water craft inspection and AIS monitoring data will be collected by the inspectors. Forms will be collected, data will be entered regularly into a WDNR data base.Related Reports
