MARINETTE COUNTY: Lepianka Runoff Management

Purpose

To cost-share installation of runoff management systems in response to animal waste outflows of nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms affecting the Lower Peshtigo River and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-neew/significant alterations, clean water diversions, nutrient management, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
