LONG LAKE PROT & REHAB DIST: Long Lake Agriculture & Waterfront BMP Planning

Purpose

Long Lake P&R District is sponsoring a project to develop designs for Agriculture and Waterfront Best Management Practices (BMPs). The final deliverables include crop field inventory & soil testing results; holding pond designs & contracts; attendance list and agendas for trainings / workshops; and shoreline restoration, rain garden, & infiltration pit designs and contracts. Specific project tasks include: 1) Crop field inventory & soil testing; 2) Holding pond designs & contracts; 3) Education & training for waterfront BMPs; 4) Shoreline restoration, rain garden, & infiltration pit designs & contracts This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
