Purpose

to cost share development of new storm water management plans, updates to existing plans, updates to existing storm water ordinances, evaluation and establishment of new local financing options, and development of public education and outreach activities to help the Town comply with its MS4 permit, recent NR 151 changes, and TMDL wasteload allocations. The Town will update its MS4 mapping, conduct infiltrometer tests on existing grass swale conveyances, and inventory areas of significant channel erosion. It will update its storm water quality management plan for the entire 2000 US Census urbanized area and develop a new one for the expansion area associated with the 2010 US Census urbanized area. The Town will perform site investigations for potential storm water BMP retrofits and prepare preliminary designs for high-ranking retrofit projects, per the UNPS & SW Program Planning Grant Application titled Greenville TMDL Stormwater Planning and submitted in 2013.
