VILLAGE OF SUMMIT: Vil Summit-Rock River TMDL SWMP

Purpose

to cost share creation of a storm water management plan that meets the requirements of the approved Rock River TMDL wasteload allocations for total phosphorus and sediment and the village's MS4 permit. Activities will include modeling, collecting data in the field, developing a recommended list of BMPs, establishing maintenance procedures, and developing an implementation schedule and cost estimates, per the UNPS & SW Program Planning Grant Application titled Village of Summit Rock River TMDL Storm Water Management Plan and submitted in 2013.

This project is an installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin�s waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will implement: creation of a storm water management plan that meets the requirements of the approved Rock River TMDL wasteload allocations for total phosphorus and sediment and the village's MS4 permit. Activities will include modeling, collecting data in the field, developing a recommended list of BMPs, establishing maintenance procedures, and developing an implementation schedule and cost estimates.
