VILLAGE OF BAYSIDE: Capacity, Infiltration/Pollutant Reduction Program

Purpose

to cost-share conversion of various concrete swales to vegetated swales, maintenance and re-grading of swales, reconstruction of the Bayside Middle School entrance, and further expansion of the pond at Brown Deer Road and Lake Drive, per the UNPS & SW Program Construction Grant Application titled Village of Bayside Capacity, Infiltration and Pollutant Reduction Program and submitted in 2013. Amendment #1: they substituted some of the locations for concrete ditch bottom removal. Expansion of the detention pond at Brown Deer Road and Lake Drive wasn't feasible, so they substituted installing a bio-retention facility upstream of the pond at Ellsworth Park. Two new culverts are necessary to divert storm water to the new bio-retention facility.
