MINONG FLOWAGE ASSOCIATION: 2014 Aquatic Plant Monitoring & AIS Education Project

Purpose

Minong Flowage Association is sponsoring an aquatic plant monitoring and AIS project to prioritize future management/implementation. Approved activities include full point intercept survey, CLP and EWM bed mapping; bathymetric survey; assistance with DNR dye study; AIS education and CLMN monitoring; expanded water quality monitoring and stakeholder meetings with management planning. Deliverables include GIS maps of areas monitored; aquatic plant survey results (spreadsheets and narrative summary); bathymetric survey results and map; information and education products; and an updated Aquatic Plant Management Plan. Special Conditions: All monitoring and management should follow approved recommendations within the Minong Flowage Aquatic Plant Management Plan, WDNR\2019s Aquatic Plant Management in Wisconsin guidance, and/or Citiizen Lake Monitoring Network protocols, as specified by the Department. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
