Lakes Planning Report

Vilas County proposes to perform the following activities in relation to developing a comprehensive lake management plan model and a lake planning resource guide: 1)Provide assistance and guidance to one or more lake organizations in developing and completing a comprehensive lake management plan; develop and complete an inventory of one or more lake's physical, chemical, biological, and social characteristics, including watershed, water quality, aquatic plants, and shoreline development information; 2) Develop and complete a Vilas county Lake Resource Guide booklet documenting the comprehensive lake management planning process and including other resources available to lake organizations; 3) Conduct one or more lake education programs on comprehensive lake management planning to share the "model" planning process and plan, and lake resource guide countywide.
