Vilas County Land and Water Department is sponsoring a small scale lake planning grant to study DO levels, within Vilas County lakes. The project will focus on purchasing a DO meter for Citizen Lake Monitoring Network (CLMN) sampling, water quality assessments during aquatic invasive species (AIS) management activities and sampling in low DO lakes with winterkill concerns. Project activities include: Purchase YSI ProDO meter and probe; scheduling and coordination of probe use.
