Purpose

Vilas County is sponsoring an AEPP grant to provide decontamination services on Vilas County lakes. The project will focus on purchasing supplies for the decontamination unit, staffing for the unit and administering a boater attitude survey. Project activities include: 1) Purchase decon unit supplies; 2) Hire staff to operate unit \2013 400 hours; 3) Develop and administer boater attitude survey; 4) Develop final report. Project deliverables include: supplies, staff, boater survey results, final report, Specific Conditions: 1) Boater attitude survey needs Dept review and approval before administering; 2) Final report needs Dept review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of report and boater survey.
