Lincoln County Land Information and Conservation Dept is sponsoring a small scale lake planning grant to study DO levels within lakes in Lincoln and Langlade Counties with a study completion date of December 31, 2009. The project will focus on purchasing a DO meter for Citizen Lake Monitoring Network (CLMN) sampling, water quality assessments during aquatic invasive species (AIS) management activities and sampling in low DO lakes with winterkill concerns. Project activities include: 1) Purchase Hach HQ30D meter and LDO probe w/30m cable; 2) Perform DO/Temp profiles as part of CLMN sampling and monitoring during AIS management and low DO lakes; 3) Submit DO/Temp profile data to WDNR; 4) Develop final report summarizing sampling.
