2009 Summary of Potamogeton cripsus on Big Arbor Vitae Lake Vilas County, Wisconsin

Vilas County LWCD is sponsoring a small scale lake planning grant to study aquatic plants in Vilas County lakes with a study completion date of December 31, 2009. The project will focus on assisting the WDNR in point-intercept (PI) surveys and performing AIS mapping for lakes with recently discovered EWM and CLP. Project activities include: 1) Hire aquatic plant survey specialist; 2) Assist WDNR with PI surveys; 3) Perform AIS mapping; 4) Develop final report that summarizes sampling and mapping, and also provides management guidance.
