BAYFIELD COUNTY LAKES FORUM INC.: Bayfield Co. Lakes Forum Communications, Outreach & Youth Water Education

Purpose

The Bayfield County Lakes Forum (BCLF) is sponsoring a project that will build capacity of its countywide organization, improve information and education outreach related to surface water issues through its website and newsletter, and provide scholarships for Bayfield County community members, including elected officials, lakefront property owners, business owners, and Bayfield County youth to attend conferences and workshops. Tasks include updating the BCLF webpage and e-distribution list; newsletter development, printing and mailing; scholarships and/or travel to the Northwest WI Lakes Conference, WI Lakes Convention, and AIS workshops; and incorporate youth into education and outreach program. Specific deliverables for this project include a summary report of tasks described above and examples (electronic and paper) of educational tools developed as part of this grant. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
