Vilas County Land and Water Conservation Dept is sponsoring a lake protection grant to study lakes and watersheds in Vilas County. The project will focus on assessing lake planning and implementation projects in Vilas County. Project activities include: 1) Inventory lake planning grant projects; 2) Assist in implementation of projects; 3) Support and attend activities of the WI Lakes Partnership; 4) Provide technical assistance and educational activities (presentations, press releases, handouts); 5) Hired Lakes Specialist; 6) Develop final report.
